What I do:

Design, interaction design, information design, graphic design and research for commercial, arts based and independent interactive projects. I'm an active participant in the design community.

projects:
  • Arts Council London, media arts sector mapping tool. Design direction and technical development and research to build a dynamic, decentralised application that maps the London media arts sector.
  • Looking and Mapping. Speculative design and research looking at legibility in the city and situated, wayfinding strategies for complex urban spaces.
  • animateonline stage two. Design, development and consultancy for the animate! funding scheme website and animation archive.
  • Central Lettering Record online. Design and Development lead to bring this large photographic archive to the web.
  • Consultancy for O2 and BUG marketing consultancy, looking at emerging patterns of use in 3G and MMS services.
  • Mobile Repair Service website. Website and communications strategy for a charity based in North London.
  • Blind use study, independent research in partnership with MRS into blind people’s use of information.
  • Public lettering. Design lead and technical development for beta site, built to support a proposed development of the Central Lettering Record. Produced in collaboration with Phil Baines, Catherine Dixon and Matt&George.
  • Design lead and management on Business Information Site for the Design Council. Produced in Collaboration with Matt&George.
  • Design lead and research on Web Design for Business for the Design Council, produced in collaboration with Spy (Nico Macdonald) and built with the assistance of Matt&George
  • IA consultancy for Solar Century.
